Building toward excellence

Tiger Strike Robotics

Tiger Strike Robotics is a competitive high school robotics team from Broken Arrow Public Schools in Broken Arrow, OK. We compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition while learning valuable skills like teamwork, planning, coding, working with various hand and power tools, all with a healthy dose of competitive spirit.

2026 Awards

We earned two awards during the 2026 season. One in Enid, OK at the Oklahoma Regional and the other in Tulsa, OK at the Green Country Regional.

Both awards spoke to the design and attention to detail that went into building our robot.

  • 2026 Green Country Regional: Quality Award
  • 2026 Oklahoma Regional: Image Award

Pre-season: Disassembly, cleaning, and organization tasks are being executed to prepare us for the build season. We spend this time updating and upgrading equipment, training students to use our tools safely and properly, teaching coding and CAD to new students, among other tasks.

Build season: Starts in January after the FIRST Robotics Kickoff event. A frenzy of mechanical and software engineering begins in an effort to build a robot to accomplish specific tasks as predetermined by FIRST Robotics. The students will spend a considerable amount of their time during this six-week period developing a strategy and building a robot to accomplish the task for that years' competition.
